Job Description: We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Escape Room Game Master. As a Game Master, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional and immersive escape room experience for our guests. Your role will involve guiding and monitoring participants as they navigate through challenging puzzles, riddles, and scenarios, ensuring they have an enjoyable and memorable adventure. You will serve as the face of our escape room facility, fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing and Setting Up Escape Rooms:

   • Setting up the escape rooms by arranging puzzles, props, and clues according to the designated themes.

   • Checking and ensuring the functionality of all game elements and equipment.

2. Greeting and Briefing Participants:

   • Welcoming guests and providing a warm introduction to the escape room experience.

   • Briefing participants on the rules, safety guidelines, and the specific storyline of the escape room they will be entering.

3. Monitoring and Assisting Participants:

   • Observing participants to ensure their safety and progress throughout the game.

   • Providing helpful hints and guidance when participants encounter challenges or struggle with puzzles.

   • Maintaining a friendly and encouraging demeanor to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants.

4. Facilitating the Escape Room Experience:

   • Presenting the storyline and setting the atmosphere to enhance immersion and engagement.

   • Monitoring time and providing periodic updates to participants to ensure they are aware of their remaining time.

   • Adapting the level of difficulty or hints based on participants' needs and experience.

5. Resetting and Cleaning Escape Rooms:

   • Resetting the escape rooms to their original state after each group completes the game.

   • Ensuring that all props, puzzles, and clues are properly organized and in working condition.

   • Performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the escape rooms.

6. Customer Service and Sales:

   • Providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, providing information, and resolving any issues or concerns.

   • Promoting and upselling additional services, such as merchandise or future bookings, to enhance the customer experience and increase revenue.

7. Other Duties:​​

   • Assisting with concession area with both prep, sales and cleaning.​

   • Assisting with and maintaining the cleanliness of common areas including restroom.

   • Assisting with and building props needed for games.

   • Maintaining equipment needed for escape games.
